Alex was “centred” more rapidly today – taking only one run to get on top of things. Alex was self correcting and consolidating.
Static Daisy! Right at the end of the day though Daisy began to complete her turns and use her legs. We worked on skating and developing turns with the outside leg retaining the skating action. Additionally daisy did a few runs of 50 jump turns and 50 leg retraction turns.
Tallulah looking very professional here – but it’s an optical illusion! With the skis facing that direction she’s at risk of catching a tip in the gate – because she’s travelling too much sideways on flat skis. She probably needs a flatter slope to be able to get close to the poles. Look at the direction of Alex’s skis in the image below.
