Mostly revision today.
Our only additional exercise was “Foot Forward” development. Here the foot is pushed along a natural arc in teh snow to simulate the feeling of how to actively “work” the ski. The pushing forward doesn’t actually displace the foot ahead of the body – it just causes the arc to tighten.
We learned that currently Sarah currently needs to avoid high altitude on the skis. The underlying problem seems to be that Sarah has never been taught certain very basic skills – this being hidden by the fact that her skiing generally looks competent. We need to go through those very basic skills in a properly safe area – and to let it take as long as it takes.
