Brian: I get the impression that you try to edge your skis too much and this leads to constant postural issues that are hard to define. When skiing on one ski you can’t do this and that’s the only time I see the posture correct and natural: See the still shot below!

Standing on one leg when turning and raising the inside knee puts Brain in an ideal, reflexive, natural posture – with good inclination, hip angulation, arm carriage and a straight back. Here the body is oriented toward standing on the one leg while stable in a turn – and should remain so even when the other leg is firmly on the snow.
