Mike 2025

Angulation: Much improved and visible – flow of the centre of mass is good from one turn into the next.
Pole Use: Right pole not being used at all – essential in bumps or very short turns. Indicates a weakness in angulation consistently when turning to the skier’s left.
Directing the Turning Ski: The new outside ski appears to be pushed outward creating a stemming effect instead of being pulled inward.
Adductor Muscles: The inside leg needs to be held together with the outside leg using the adductor muscles of of both legs pulling together. This is a counter intuitive issue.
The first image below shows the right knee reaching into the turn when it should be moving toward the outside of the turn. The racing image below shows the opposite -pulling the inside knee toward the belly button.
Timing: Need some work on compression turns to become aware of how to adapt to bumps and aid rapid angulation when the bumps get gnarly or very close to each other.

Inside knee going in the correct direction!
