Today we started off with parallel skiing exercises at high altitude.
- Straight snowplough with both leg’s adductor muscles loose – skis go flatter
- Snowplough with tightening the adductors on one leg to place that ski more on edge safely – this causes the ski to deflect the skier and change direction – right leg to go left
- When parallel the pushing leg (to move the centre of mass) must have the adductors tight – right leg to go left
- Once comfortable to ski parallel keep the adductors of both legs constantly tight – linking turns
