Well done for everyone persisting despite the inclement weather, cold, cramps and bad visibility.

When the video was taken everyone was more or less in survival mode so it’s asking too much to expect new movement patterns to be on display. I’ve taken still shots that show classic errors – not for criticism but only for clarity so everyone knows what they are dealing with. Our focus is on changing all of this – but it definitely helps when conditions are on our side!

There is a full description of Dynamics at this link… http://madeinmountains.com/dynamics/
I recommend spending ten minutes going through it!

Tomorrow will be a much nicer day so just think of today as an introduction mainly to dynamics and a start to thinking differently about skiing.

You can still develop dynamics while using a plough!
Arm behind the back shows body rotation and weight too far back – defensive due to bad visibility
Same as the others – weight too far back, stemming and rotation.
Look at the right knee tucking in – instead of just standing up on the leg and pushing the body over
Weight too far back, stemming and not solid on outside ski. Conditions just too demanding at this stage
